Rudi Bakhtiar

Okay people, let's move away from models and actors for a moment here and talk about a woman who is neither of those things, yet still completely beautiful (inside and out): Rudi Bakhtiar. She was born in California in 1966 as Rudabeh Carleen Bakhtiar. Her father's uncle was the last Prime Minister of Iran under Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Her family left Los Angeles when she was five years old and moved back to Iran, where they lived until the 1979 revolution. They returned to California when Rudi was seventeen. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She was accepted to the NYU Dental School, but was hesitant about moving to New York. Instead, she studied architecture at Harvard. Afterwards, Rudi took a job at CNN where she was a news anchor for 10 years. During that time, she became one of the most popular journalists in America. Her charismatic and sensible demeanor are unmatchable in the industry. In 2002, she received the Iranian American Republic Council Achievement Award for her outstanding achievements and accomplishments within the Iranian community; particularly for her charitable involvements. In 2008, Rudi became the director of public relations for the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA).
